Sherlock: The Official Live Game is a unique adventure combining immersive experience, escape game and fully-themed drinks (soft drinks and mocktails) and dining area, making it the ideal venue for your school away day.
Your students will need to use critical thinking, creative problem-solving and teamwork to crack this new Sherlock case from the makers of the hit BBC TV series.
They’ll solve puzzles and clues with help from original cast members, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Andrew Scott and Martin Freeman, in original video and audio sequences.

We can arrange experiences for small groups from 6 students to packages for up to 150 people. And with all school groups, the teacher/chaperone goes free!
All groups receive a breakdown of their team’s strengths, with each game designed to challenge and test skills such as:

As well as arranging for your students to play The Official Live Game, we can also offer you a range of optional extras that you can add to your package and really make a day of it. These include:

Group Sizes Catered For
We can cater to group sizes of 6 – 150 people. Our escape experience is designed for groups of 6 people maximum, so larger groups may be split up. However, they will all play the same escape room game.
Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions
Absolutely no filming, photography or audio recordings are allowed in the escape room itself. However, there are photo opportunities available in our replica set of 221B and in our secret Sherlock speakeasy, The Mind Palace.
Risk Assessment Details
When requested, we forward on any risk assessment forms provided by the client onto our General Manager and the Operations team to fill in and send back.
Pricing Information
Our ‘It’s Elementary Watson’ experience package is exclusive for school groups.
£35 per person and includes:
-Ticket Entry
-Dedicated space 2 hours before or after the game in The Mind Palace
-Chaperones go for free*
*Children below the age of 16 years old will require a chaperone to be present.
Clothing Requirements
Dress comfortably as befitting an active investigator. Unfortunately, this means high heels are not permitted. For your own safety, please wear flat shoes.
First Aid Information
We do have first aid trained staff and have an up to date first aid kit on site, however there is no specific station.

- We are a cashless venue and only accept card payments
Accessibility & Disabled Facilities
We aim to provide an experience that is accessible and enjoyable for people of all abilities, however, due to the nature of the experience please call or email before you book to ensure that we can accommodate your specific requirements.
Wheelchair Access
The entire venue is step-free and most standard wheelchairs are suitable to play the game.
The game lasts approximately 100 minutes, so although there are not great distances to walk, guests who are able to walk for short distances may feel more comfortable using a wheelchair.
If you require the use of a wheelchair or have any further questions or requirements, please email info@thegameisnow.com and the team will ensure your needs for the day are met.
Relaxed Game
A relaxed game is open specifically to those with an Autistic Spectrum Condition, sensory and communication disorder or learning disability. There is no strobe lighting or strong smells, but we advise there are loud noises, (ear defenders are available on request), and dark corridors.
We can arrange a walkthrough of the rooms prior to the visit if required. Simply email info@thegameisnow.com with your booking reference to arrange a walkthrough and or request the use of ear defenders.
