What we offer on a school trip
Vertigo Adventures is located in the beautiful surroundings of Stanborough Park North.
As one of the largest and most challenging courses of its kind, Vertigo Adventures is outdoor entertainment at its very best! Do you have the head for heights to take on the 30ft “Hawks View” High Ropes Course? Or perhaps the “Monkey Trail”, at just 10ft high, will bring the ape out in you?
Don’t forget to try the zip, climbing wall, or take a leap of faith on the powerfan descender.
What makes us a great choice for education
Go learn! From KS1 – KS4 and beyond into further and higher education, you can have an excellent learning outside of the classroom experience at Vertigo Adventures. We offer great rates for educational groups, along with a free teacher ratio of 1 free teacher per every 15 students.
Go explore some more! For additional learning experiences, why not consider a team building workshop? With the aid of a dedicated instructor, each session costs £12.00 per student. These workshops are most suited for students aged 8+. Activities include:
Jacobs Ladder
A classic team exercise that uses a giant ladder suspended 40ft in the air. This is a true test of co-operation, balance, co-ordination, and a degree of strength.
High All Aboard
A real balancing act! Climb the 40ft pole to access a small platform, and balance precariously whilst making room for a further 3 people. This encourages teamwork and communication.
Crate Stack
This is a test of balance and co-ordination. Stack as many milk crates as possible to build the highest tower. An enjoyable, rewarding, and satisfying challenge.
Gladiator Challenge
Compete with team mates to ascend the poles, tyres, and nets to the top of the gladiator challenge that hangs from a 40ft steel bar. Designed to increase comradeship, patience, and control.
Tarzan Jump
First climb a 40ft pole to a tiny platform, then pluck up the courage to leap across to grab the trapeze bar hanging several feet away. This is a challenge that requires courage and determination. Ultimately, this is a fantastic confidence booster.
