What we offer on a school trip
Tackt-Isle Adventures is the place to visit for an action-packed adventure on the Isle of Wight. Based on the most Easterly point of the Isle of Wight, overlooking the beautiful Bembridge Harbour, Tackt-Isle offers a huge range of activities on and off the water, with an emphasis on team building, confidence bolstering and above all, fun.

We offer great value for money in a safe environment. Our HQ is welcoming and friendly and its location is superb. We sit on the edge of the stunning Bembridge Harbour, a stones throw from St Helen’s Beach. We have repeat bookings year on year and really love getting to know our groups.

Tackt-Isle Adventures is licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA)to provide watersports. We are regularly inspected to ensure we comply with nationally accepted standards of safety and good practice.
Our accredited AALA licensing number is L12919 and our reference is R2188.

What is typically included on our school trips
We pride ourselves on offering excellent value, bespoke visits for schools and groups, with absolutely no hidden costs. All kit is included.
Group Sizes Catered For
We can cater for a maximum of 90. If you have a larger group, please contact us and we will see what we can do.
Materials, Resources & Information Provided
A welcome pack is emailed to staff ahead of their activity day with further information and useful guidance.
Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions
Groups are welcome to take pictures and film during their sessions.
Risk Assessment Details
Detailed risk assessments are available on request. Teachers and Education leaders are welcome to visit our site and meet the team prior to their activity day.

Pricing Information
We are pleased to be able to offer action packed days at competitive prices. Our activities are tailor made to suit individual needs.
Half days of land and water activities: From £25pp
Full days of land and water activities: From £35pp
Teachers are invited to take part in the activities free of charge.

Clothing Requirements
Wetsuits, buoyancy aids and splash tops (if required) are provided for your trip. Children are required to bring swimwear to wear under their wetsuits and their own shoes or trainers (no sandals, open toes shoes or Crocs). A towel to dry off after the session is also recommended!
We ask you to bring appropriate clothing for the weather (ie. Sunhats/Cream, waterproof jackets etc).
First Aid Information
All of our instructors are First Aid trained. A defibrillator is 50m away. Our HQ contains a fully stocked First Aid Kit and our instructors carry emergency kits as well.

– Free tea and coffee making facilities.
– A small tuck shop is on site.
– Space to eat packed lunches inside and out.
– A seasonal café is open May-September within one minute’s walk.

Our site is accessible, and we have a disabled toilet and shower room. We endeavor to make our activities as inclusive as possible. Please contact Ben Smith, to discuss any specific requirements.
