From the woods, to the coast, to the mountains, Active Learning Centers are dedicated to helping kids develop essential skills and character, and to promote wellbeing through outdoor learning.
Cuffley Camp offers one to five day Residential Trips that suit every age group – with superb accommodation, exciting activities, and a dedicated refectory providing an excellent range of freshly cooked meals.

The stunning woodland environment provides all age groups with the opportunity to explore their surroundings and experience new activities – whether it’s art in nature, the John Muir Award, or multi-activities, we work with schools to create a dedicated itinerary that meets individual as well as group needs.

Group Sizes Catered For
We can cater for a minimum group size of 30 and a maximum group size of 400.
Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions
We have no restrictions on our camps for photography, filming, and audio. However, this will be purely for teaching staff.
Risk Assessment Details
As a company, we complete extensive Risk Assessments and detailed Health & Safety Policies, which are regularly monitored and reviewed. Please get in touch to request a copy.
First Aid Information
We have qualified First Aiders on site at all times.
Comprehensive First Aid Kits and Emergency Medical Kits are nearby on all courses and any incidents are managed through a detailed incident, emergency, and communication plan.
Available Facilities
On site, we have newly renovated wash blocks for both students and teachers.
There is also a new refectory offering wholesome and varied meals.

We do our best to cater for all disabilities. However, it is best to discuss any requirements with us before booking.

Room Sizes and Facilities
Pod Village:
Each of our two Pod Villages can sleep up to 48 students and 4 staff.
Each one has a central open yurt for cosy fireside evenings and a dedicated toilet and shower block for group privacy.
Students share comfortable and spacious 4 berth pods, while teachers share twin-berth pods, with a few extra home comforts.
We have a night porter which regularly checks on the Pod’s overnight.
Tents:
Our discrete woodland campsites vary in sizes, so we can accommodate your group on their own private camp.
Spread around a central yurt, with an open fire constantly ablaze, these camps allow full immersion into the woodland setting and are a magical experience for all ages.
Each camp is equipped with a suite of toilets and nearby shower blocks.
Our staff stay with you overnight on duty to help with any issues that occur.
