There is something magical about Camp Redwood.

This unique venue provides pupils with the opportunity to get back to basics with outdoor experiences designed to help them develop and grow. Camping in bell tents amongst the impressive Redwood trees in the beautiful grounds of Thoresby estate, this residential camp visit really does provide an environment that promotes immersion in the wonderful outdoors

Our goal is to allow individuals a ‘digital detox’, a chance to experience nature without the modern distractions of screens, whilst developing skills needed back in the classroom. Activities will focus on resilience, confidence, problem-solving and teamwork. Our programme of activities is built around what is available in the natural environment, such as shelter building, low-ropes challenges, and roasting marshmallows around a campfire which students will light themselves!  All our activities are designed to encourage team participation and self-reflection.

Activities include:

Bushcraft, orienteering, low ropes, shelter building, camp fire, team games

Current costs of a 2 night stay

60+ pupils is £110 per pupil

£115 per pupil with fish and chips option.

Teachers are priced at £15 each or £20 each with fish and chips option.

Staff are first aid trained.
