Bath YMCA School Trip Accommodation

Bath YMCA specialise in providing fantastic accommodation for school groups of all ages and our central location means all the main attractions are on your doorstep! We specialise in providing accommodation to schools, colleges, sports groups and young people generally, from far and wide and to a variety of ages.

We can accommodate groups from under 10 to 180 in a range of rooms (dormitories, single, twin, triple and quad rooms). Single sex bathrooms are located throughout all the accommodation and access is secured to all residential areas.
Leaders have their own single rooms (with tea making facilities) and we endeavour to keep them near to the student rooms. A light breakfast (cereal, toast, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice and hot drinks) is included in the price and we can provide additional meals, cooked breakfasts and packed lunches as required.

Our fantastic central location means that all the main attractions, such as the Roman Baths, the Jane Austen centre and the Royal Crescent are all in easy walking distance.

We are staffed on our main reception 24 hours, every day and operated CCTV inside and outside the building. All groups placed on one floor or corridor unless size of group requires extra floor space.

Located in central Bath with easy access to all the historical sites in Bath and for some attractions such as the Roman Baths, we can offer discounts to school groups on the entry fees. We specialise in working with young people and have experienced staff on hand to help make arrangements, offer you a seamless visit and allow your young people to create special memories of their trip to Bath. All key staff are DBS checked.

Fire checks/drills are carried out once a week – Tuesday.

All gym and nursery staff are first aid trained, majority of reception staff are first aid training. We also have 2 defibrillators on site with trained staff.

Cooked breakfast, packed lunches and evening meals can be provided by prior arrangement.

Light breakfast is available on Saturday and Sunday morning which is included in the room price.

The accommodation isn?t suitable for disabled children.

These meals were the best we?ve had on trips. Tasty, homemade, and loads of it. Really just fantastic.

We were all so impressed with your YMCA. The food was out of this world, gorgeous. Friendly, helpful, even with 144 twelve year olds!!!! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Thank you for letting us stay in the YMCA, it was really fun in the dormitories and having bunk beds to sleep in. Also the food was really nice to eat, the breakfast and lunch were the best part of the stay. Tyler and the rest of the children from Brightstone Primary School, Isle of Wight.
