Law in schools is not a core curriculum subject and would only be covered briefly in primary and secondary schools until higher education where you can choose this as a full- time option, one fantastic way of experiencing this excellent fascinating subject is to experience this on a school trip. A Law school trip is a great way of getting your pupils, students and educational groups to learn about the subject in a real working environment and outside of the classroom, The NCCL wants to inspire young people with an understanding of the law and the justice system by the re-enactment of court cases within historic legal buildings involving judges and leading professionals.
The workshops and education programmes take place in a real law court environment and the pupils and students learn and experience Court based learning activities about the Law and the justice system that will inspire and educate in a fun and dynamic way and cover key skills such as critical thinking, enquiry, debating, speaking, listening and communication. The subject matter is interlinked to the national curriculum and covers other subjects such as Citizenship, PSHE and Sociology, Suitable for key stages 1 to 5 and beyond. Please see listed below on UK School Trips a selection of fantastic locations that you can take your group too.
