Sociology is a subject that is studied and enjoyed in many schools throughout the UK. It is particularly focused on during key stages 4 to 5, however there are elements of sociology among all of the humanities subjects. This is a subject that allows pupils & students to develop a wide range of knowledge about society. Pupils & students are able to discover how sociologists study and understand the various structures, processes and issues involved. One of the key reasons why sociology is so popular is because it’s relevant to students’ lives. Pupils & students are also able to develop their skills throughout the course – they are encouraged to question evidence and improve their critical and evaluation skills. There are a range of school sociology trips available which can be made relevant to any topic that they are currently studying. Whether pupils & students are interested in media or crime topics, we provide various sociology school trips that will enhance pupils & students’ knowledge of that particular field.
