We currently have 2 venues in Birmingham, one at Resorts World and the other on Corporation Street.
Get locked in and let the adrenaline flow as you race against time to crack the clues and escape the room. Great fun for groups, team building, corporate events, families, or a night out with friends. Our expert staff can help create an exciting and memorable experience.
What makes us a great choice for education
Think of Escape Hunt as the closest you’re likely to get to starring in a brilliantly plotted escape movie.
You and your teammates get locked in a themed room and have to find and solve a series of clues in order to escape. The pressure’s on, the clock’s ticking, the adrenaline’s pumping. Escape Hunt isn’t something you watch, it’s something you experience – right in the heart of the action.
We make you earn your freedom, throwing all manner of devious and dastardly red herrings, dead ends and misdirections your way. It’s completely immersive, utterly addictive and totally entertaining. After Escape Hunt, other entertainment just feels flat.
What is typically included on our school trips
At Resorts World we have 4 epic escape room themes to choose from & x4 virtual reality experiences including:
Escape the Wild West
Step into the Wild West, where the tiny frontier town of East Victoria is celebrating the discovery of gold.
But the celebrations turn sour when news arrives that the bloodthirsty Bill French Gang are on their way to claim the gold – and kill everyone in East Victoria for good measure!
With no sheriff around and no cavalry riding to the rescue, your only hope is a rusty old locomotive that hasn’t worked in years – but with just one hour to get it going and escape with your lives, you need to think fast and work even faster. There isn’t a second to lose.
Doctor Who: A Dalek Awakens
Step on board a doomed spaceship, where a rogue Dalek has tapped into the power system, in an attempt to recharge its weapons. Should the Doctor’s most feared enemy be successful, it will exterminate all in its path.
You the Doctor’s friends, must prevent this catastrophe. Shutting down the ship’s power core will ensure the Dalek cannot activate its weapons. However, the ship’s life support systems rely on the same energy source, meaning that shutting down the power would result in the death of all 10,000 passengers.
You have just 60 minutes to find a way out of this impossible situation. You must defeat the Dalek to allow the spaceship to continue safely on its journey. Take too long and your destination will be extermination!
Aladdin
Step into a mysterious cave where you believe a magical and powerful lamp is hidden within. You and your team are prepared to risk anything to retrieve it.
To gain entry to the cave, you have enlisted the help of a local sorcerer. Upon his command of ‘Open Sesame’ the great cave door rolls back. Once inside, your eyes adjust to the dim light and you realise that the cave is full of puzzles and quests designed to guard the treasure hoarded within.
Navigate your way through the mysterious cave and seek out the lamp. But be warned – legend states that those who remove the lamp risk the cave’s wrath and could remain trapped for eternity.
Alice in Puzzleland
Step into Wonderland, where the Hatter has been accused of stealing the Queen’s Tarts. With Alice nowhere to be seen, it’s time for you to fill her shoes.
You find yourself at the Hatter’s cottage. The table is set but no one is around.
A sign on the lawn reads ‘Tea Party Cancelled by Royal Decree’. Curiouser and curiouser…
Find and return the Queen’s Tarts in 60 minutes, or it’s off with the Hatter’s head. Chop chop.
Virtual Reality options:
Alice – Drink a shrinking potion and follow the White Rabbit through the twisted mazes of the world behind the looking-glass, where everything is turned upside down. Help the Hatter, follow the Cheshire Cat, save the fairies, and the other characters who have been stuck in time by the evil queen.
From sifting through the many hats in the Mad Hatter’s collection to sneaking through the gardens of the red castle; not a single part of Wonderland will be left unexplored as you and your friends race against the clock. Expect magic mushrooms, games of croquet and lots of adventure.
With only an hour to journey to the Queen of Hearts fortress, do you have what it takes to lift the spell and save Wonderland?
Mission Sigma – Step into the middle of a city in danger. The secret service has been working on locating and removing threats from across the capital. All that remains is a missile on top of an abandoned high-rise.
The latest intel from HQ is that the missile is primed and ready to launch in just 45 minutes. But that’s not all. The building it’s on has been turned into a tower rigged to stop people from reaching it.
As a team of experts drafted in by the secret service, it’s down to you to reach the missile and disarm it before it’s too late. The only thing stopping the end of civilisation, is you. Have you and your team got what it takes?
Jungle Quest – Step into the middle of a breath-taking world far away from your own. You and your friends find yourself transported atop a floating island filled with flowing waterfalls, majestic wild animals and incredible flora. It’s paradise, but not all is as it seems…
To find your way home you’ll need to use all of your wits. Race against the clock to solve puzzles, unlock portals and leap your way back to freedom. You have 50 minutes to work together and find the portal that will take you back to your own world.
Survival – It was supposed to be an unforgettable holiday with friends, but now you’re all stranded on a small uninhabited island in the Pacific Ocean and on the ultimate survival quest.
Who knows how long you will have to wait until the search team finds you and with the weather getting worse, you need a place to hide.
Can you and your team work together, investigate what’s in your surroundings and use your critical thinking to survive and escape the island?
Escape Hunt Birmingham Central: at Escape Hunt Birmingham Central: we have x4 epic escape rooms + x2 outdoor City Hunt experiences.
Return to Wonderland (outdoor game)
The looking glass is shattered, and Wonderland’s citizens have disappeared. By order of the Queen, help the White Rabbit to return everyone to Wonderland or it’s off with his head. Tick Tock.
This very morning, The Queen of Hearts made the mistake of peering into her magic mirror before it was quite awake. The poor thing was so startled that it shattered into pieces!
To make matters worse, the scattered pieces have run away across the streets of Birmingham, bringing Wonderland characters with them. They are lost, confused, and making the most maddening mess.
The furious Queen has commanded her loyal White Rabbit to retrieve all the missing pieces and bring everyone home – but he can’t do it alone.
Follow his trail around Birmingham to find the lost Wonderlanders, solve mind-muddling puzzles, and help mend the magical looking-glass.
Time Cops (outdoor game)
A way to communicate with the future and a mission like no other; you’ve got just 90 minutes to stop the artificial intelligence from being released and save humanity.
Time Cops are humanity’s last line of defence. On the streets of Birmingham armed with a briefcase full of gadgets, your wits and a device that communicates with the future, it’s down to you and your team to protect the world from danger.
A message from the future warns of an evil computer system named H.E.L.A., an artificial intelligence with one goal: to destroy humanity. H.E.L.A. is gathering power through a nest of servers, hidden beneath the streets of Birmingham. In 90 minutes, it will become too powerful to control!
Assemble your team and race around the streets of Birmingham, shutting down the servers before H.E.L.A. wreaks havoc on the world.
Time’s ticking Time Cops, the future, is in your hands.
Doctor Who: Worlds Collide
Step into the future. Enter the offices of ChronosCorp HQ, where eccentric billionaire Alastair Montague’s efforts to develop commercial time travel have caused a tear in the fabric of space and time. The Cybermen are ready to take advantage and attack Earth.
You, the Doctor’s friends, must investigate the incident. The remains of Montague, his prototype time engine and the extensive collection of time-related artefacts acquired over the course of his experiments, are all that you have to work with.
In just 60 minutes the Cybermen will break through. The fate of the universe is in your hands. Take too long and the human race will be “upgraded”.
The Fourth Samurai
Step into ancient Japan, where the imperial emperor has ordered you, his most trusted samurai warriors, to defeat the evil warlord Tanaka Masamune.
But be warned, Tanaka is no ordinary enemy; he is protected by a powerful curse that makes him invincible to even the strongest warrior. The only way to beat him is to steal the magic stone from the handle of his sword – but first you must escape from the dungeon his henchmen have thrown you into.
You have one hour to break free and complete your mission; any longer and you pay – with a fate worse than death.
Our Finest Hour
Step into 1942, when the world is at war. The Nazis have developed a series of devastating new superweapons that could obliterate Britain and win the war at a stroke.
As MI6’s top agents you’ve been chosen to find and destroy these fiendish inventions before they destroy us. The latest news from HQ is that the superweapons are primed and ready to launch, so you have precisely 60 minutes to discover their location, destroy them and save Britain.
The stakes couldn’t be higher – take too long and there won’t be any Britain left to save.
Blackbeard Treasure
Step onto a pirate galleon in the middle of a battle for control of the High Seas. Your captain, the terrifying Blackbeard, has just been killed and his ship is shot to pieces and sinking fast.
With no chance of victory, you and your scurvy shipmates decide to jump ship – after helping yourself to the contents of Blackbeard’s legendary treasure chest.
You’ve broken into his cabin to grab all you can, but now the door has jammed shut and you’ve just 60 minutes to escape; any longer and you’ll drown – if the sharks don’t get you first.
Group Sizes Catered For
We think our games are ideal for groups of between two and six. If you’ve more than six people who want to play, then why not split into more than one team? We can cater to anything from smaller group to larger group bookings.
Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions
We don’t allow groups to film or photograph in the rooms as we want other groups to have an authentic experience and not reveal too much. We do offer the opportunity to take photos at the end of the experience with different props in front of our photo wall.
