The National Park outstanding natural beauty & Lagganlia’s idealic location combine with a tailored adventure education experience to deliver a memorable and often life changing residential for children and young people.

Lagganlia Outdoor Centre is a  member of the Institute of Outdoor Learning, SAPOE, AHOEC, ALLA and our accommodation is visit Scotland accredited and a member of Association of Scottish self caters and Cairngoms business partnership

Lagganlia has onsite archery, high ropes, climbing wall, low ropes,  kayak pond and artificial ski slope however most activities take place off site in the wild and rural national park area to optimize the experience for the young people.

Our activities can take place on foot, on wheels, on water, on the edge, on the slopes and in the field.

Lagganlia Centre for Outdoor Learning can sleep 125 people in total, through a variety of accommodation types ranging for bunk house to lodge chalets.

Pricing depends on customer needs, we can offer a variety of competitively priced packages at Lagganlia. From self catered to fully serviced – with or without activities or hybrid.

We set prices annually for 4 night full residential experiences. We can build a bespoke week based on your budget and may have late availability offers. Supervising adults go free on a 1 to 10 supervision or 1 on 1 needs.

Staff are first aid trained and emergency medical facilities are within easy commute of the centre.

A souvenir shop, dining area and commercial catered kitchen, coffee area, common room/games room, library, social areas, classrooms including smart screens, WIFI , outdoor recreational space, purpose build drying rooms, secure entry system.

Lagganlia main centre has a ramped wheelchair access, with an accessible toilet,  & platform stair lift to main house rec areas.

Hillend Lodge is our DDA complaint lodge with accessible en-suites and groud floor accommodation with entrance ramp, parking. Staff are trained and experinced in SEN awareness and have specialized outdoor equipment and access to additional inclusive resources

Lagganlia is operational 7 days a week all year round.

Lagganlia is exclusively for schools midweek term time however accommodation, facilities and activities can be booked for self – catering stays and catered/service group activity packages during school holidays and weekends. All income is reinvested in our core purpose of delivering Outdoor Learning.

Remote location, in GlenFeshie, 15 minute commute from the highland resort town of Aviemore.

Main house sleeps up to 58 in en suite bunk style dorm accommodation over 2 floors, with 5 chalet style lodges sleeping from 6 – 18 in single, twin and dorm bunk rooms. Providing a further 67 beds. Totaling 125 persons capacity.
