What we offer on a school trip
OTHERWORLD offers students a chance to interact with virtual reality, and by the use of dynamic heat, wind and rumble effects understand the possibilities involved with immersive entertainment.
What makes us a great choice for education
OTHERWORLD is the UK’s favourite VR Destination. Immersive 4D Technology combines with explorable virtual worlds and engaging experiences, it’s the gateway to the metaverse. If you’ve seen Ready Player One, this is the closest thing to it.
Team-based experiences allow students to work together to reach a common goal, and a points system is used to generate a leaderboard which can be used to tally up a total for group vs group competition as well as individually.
Experiences range from outright entertaining to those with a more educational spin.
What is typically included on our school trips
The VR Experience, OTHERWORLD itself is a custom build island with minigames and activities. The various third party content we own vary from pure entertainment to more arty experiences. Google Earth VR also has a geographical element to it. People will be inducted prior to the experience.
If there are various options, for instance for different key stages, or for different curriculum topics, then please write as many as you want to include. If you tailor each visit specifically to the needs of the group then please also mention this.
