The Kitesurf Centre Water Sport Multi-Activity Days Camber Sands East Sussex

The Kitesurf Centre (est.2008) is a kitesurfing school on Camber Sands beach. The BKSA and BSUPA accredited school and instructor training centre offers a variety of thrill-seeking activities such as kitesurfing lessons, kite buggying, kite landboarding, stand up paddleboarding, wingsurfing & adventurous group activity days. With such a range of activities available for groups and individuals, they can help you find a new passion, but most of all enjoy learning something fun and exciting!

With the ability to train and entertain groups of up to 45 people, The Kitesurf Centre offer an array of activities suitable for people of all abilities, aged 8+.

If you fancy a splash, an introductory Stand Up Paddleboarding course will see you cruising, or if you’re more of a dry land person, some powerkiting or kitebuggying and landboarding sessions will ensure you make the most of the UK’s windiest beach.

Not sure what you want to do? Try a bit of everything! half-day and full-day multi-activity sessions allow you to mix and match our sports and add in some fun beach games for a whole lot of fun.

Not only is The Kitesurf Centre the only licensed centre directly on the famous Camber Sands beach (our main teaching location) but we also teach at Greatstone beach a ten-minute drive from Camber.

What does this mean for you? It means that we can teach in almost every single wind direction the forecast can throw at us!  These fantastic beaches each offer miles of open space for you to learn kite flying skills, harness and wind and explore the sea.

Ages 8+ can be catered for on our land based powerkting and multi-activity sessions. For water based Stand Up Paddleboarding sessions, students should be aged 12+. Our activity days can be tailored to your groups needs; please call or email us to discuss your groups needs.

Working with the wind and the sea, our activities can be linked to learning outcomes required by class teachers introducing tides, wind and forces.

Our land and water based activities are ideal for developing your people’s skills such as teamwork, communication, creativity, confidence and determination.

All students will be equipped with or offered used of wetsuits and buoyancy aids (where applicable), windproofs and helmets. All participants must provide their own footwear for the activities.

Powerkiting, kitebuggying – Up to 45 people.

Stand Up Paddleboarding – Up to 14 people.

Multi- Activity Half/Full Day – Up to 45 people.

Please call us to discuss individual bookings and your requirements, Curriculum linked activity should be arranged as a part of the booking process.

All groups sign as a part of their booking process to agree to photographic rights for The Kitesurf Centre to use their image in any marketing or promotional activity. Any groups as a whole, or individuals who wish to opt out must ensure they inform the centre.

Groups may photograph and film their own participants, exclusively being mindful to other groups onsite.

Risk assessments for all activities can be provided upon request.

Kitebuggying & Landboarding 3hr lesson – £69 per person (10% off for groups of 6 or more, 15% off for groups of 12 or more)

Stand Up Paddleboarding 2hr lesson – £49 per person (10% off for groups of 6 or more, 15% off for groups of 12)

Multi-Activity Half Day (3hrs) – £59 per person (10% off for groups of 6 or more, 15% off for groups of 12 or more)

Multi-Activity Full Day (6hrs) – £99 per person (10% off for groups of 6 or more, 15% off for groups of 12 or mo

Water-based activities – Participants should bring swimwear and a towel

Land-based activities – Participants should wear weather appropriate clothing and trainers. Flip-flops or barefoot are not permitted for kitebuggying and landboarding.

All instructors are first aid trained and there is a first aid station at the centre.

Changing rooms, porta-loo, classroom (up to 12 people), outdoor seating for 30-35 people.

Lesson times are all affected by tides so will vary from day to day. Please contact us with your requirements and activity interests so that we can advise the time parameters for the day.
